Halloween 2013- Liam as Flounder and ME as Ariel

My name is JAG, and this blog is inspired by my first son, Liam. As of January 2014, I proudly ascended the ranks of motherhood with the debut of baby boy number two: Asher. My boys are my little loves, and my whole world.

All stories have twists and turns, and mine is no different. It is a far cry from a fairytale, but I am living proof that surprising and delightful things DO happen to people who believe in possibility. I believe every story should be told. I hope mine serves to educate, teach and inspire others.

As a blogger, I strive to create a space that encourages conversation, provides knowledge and inspires action. My writing stems from the perspective of a Mommy, but I hope to appeal to more than the parent. After all, before becoming parents we were individuals too. My commitments as a parent include baby-wearing, bonding, breastfeeding, cloth diapering, eco-friendly living, faith, fitness, homemade food, positive parenting and the like. And of course, FASHION.

I live my life in the moment. On most days, I know what I want. I set goals, I have by-whens and I give 110% effort. I make mistakes. Sometimes, I fail. I don’t believe in regrets. Everything is a choice. I thrive on doing new and exciting things. I create who I am, every single day.

I love the atypical. Smiling is my favorite. It warms my heart to bring joy to those around me. Whether it works or fails, I will introduce you to my Lovely Finds, and give YOU a chance to try them out through giveaways, reviews and gift guides. My life may have taken a detour, but I’m enjoying every minute of it. The good, the bad, the beautiful and the ugly; it’s mine, and I’m proud of every messy detail.
