When I was first pregnant
with Liam, I knew nothing about baby carriers. I didn’t even want one. Mostly
because I thought all baby carriers were “crotch danglers,” which are
essentially bad for baby’s alignment. I couldn’t imagine myself carrying my
sweet boy around while he just hung awkwardly. How could I do that to him?!
Thankfully, my mom kept
pushing the issue as most moms do, and I finally gave in to the idea of babywearing.
I began educating myself on the ins and outs of baby carriers and babywearing. All
I can say is, “Oh my goodness!!” There’s a whole world out there dedicated to
babywearing, and if you take the time to look there’s plenty of information for
expecting parents and seasoned parents alike.
Lucky for you, I already
did most of the groundwork. The main thing to keep in mind when choosing a
carrier, regardless of which one you choose, is child placement. You want to
make sure your child sits in a natural position like they would when you carry
them in your arms whether in the front, on your hip or on your back.
So which carrier did I
choose?! Ergobaby hands down!! More specifically, the Ergobaby Classic Carrier in Galaxy Grey.

| This is the first ad I saw featuring the Ergobaby Classic Carrier in Galaxy Grey. Wouldn't you fall in love? |
Why? When I first saw the
Ergobaby carrier, stars shone. Naturally, I fell in love. Not only does it have an out
of this world star design, but it holds your baby in an ergonomic, natural
seated position while keeping you comfortable. Believe me when I say it’s super comfy, I
walked 5ks with Liam in our Ergobaby and we loved it!! It definitely encouraged
me to stay active and fit.
The Galaxy Grey carrier
is made of 100% soft cotton with a neutral grey exterior. It sports embroidered white stars on one of the shoulder straps and on the side of the waist strap.
It also includes a white and grey star print design on the hood and lining of
the carrier. The cushy padding featured on the waist and shoulder straps help to evenly distribute baby’s weight between your hips and shoulders. Everything about this carrier is adjustable, so it fits a variety of body types and heights. Ergobaby carriers allow parents to go hands-free while still
keeping in style. It’s the perfect way to bond with baby!!
